Policies & Guidelines
Stylist Code of Conduct
At Perserva Suites, our goal is to cultivate a professional, elevated, and supportive environment for both clients and stylists. All renters are expected to uphold the standards below to maintain the reputation and integrity of the Perserva brand.
1. Professional Appearance
While Perserva Suites does not enforce a strict dress code, all stylists are expected to present themselves in business casual attire during working hours.
Leggings and sweatpants are permitted; however, outfits should reflect an elevated, cozy, and intentional look.
Clothing should be clean, well-fitted, and appropriate for a professional salon environment.
Personal grooming and hygiene should always reflect the high standards we aim to provide to clients.
2. Punctuality & Time Management
Stylists at Perserva Suites are expected to respect their clients’ time.
Arriving on time for appointments is mandatory.
Chronic lateness, cancellations without notice, or unprofessional scheduling habits are not aligned with Perserva’s standards.
Stylists are responsible for managing their own calendars, buffer times, and client communication.
Perserva aims to be known for stylists who take their business seriously and give it the attention it deserves.
3. Business Responsibility & Accountability
Each stylist is an independent business owner and is expected to operate as such.
Stylists must:
Maintain proper licensing, insurance, and certifications as required by law.
Manage their own inventory, sanitation, and workspace upkeep.
Handle client communication professionally, respectfully, and promptly.
Take responsibility for resolving client concerns in a professional manner.
4. Salon Environment & Cleanliness
Workspaces must be kept clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.
Shared areas should be respected and left clean after use.
Trash, laundry, and supplies should be disposed of or stored properly.
Excessive noise, disruptive behavior, or unprofessional conduct will not be tolerated.
5. Respect, Conduct & Community
Perserva Suites is built on professionalism, respect, and collaboration.
Treat fellow stylists, clients, management, and guests with courtesy and respect.
Gossip, harassment, bullying, discrimination, or unprofessional behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
Conflicts should be handled maturely and, when necessary, brought to management for resolution.
6. Events & Community Engagement
Perserva Suites will host events for both clients and staff to foster community, education, and brand growth.
Stylists are strongly encouraged to attend hosted events.
Events will never be planned last-minute, allowing adequate time for scheduling.
Attendance is strongly encouraged unless:
The stylist already has a prior commitment on their calendar, or
The absence has been discussed by an owner or manager in advance.
Participation in events supports the collective growth and visibility of both Perserva Suites and suite renters.
7. Use of the Perserva Brand
Stylists should represent Perserva Suites positively both in person and online.
Any use of the Perserva name, logo, or branding should align with our values.
Public behavior, including social media presence, should not negatively reflect the salon or its community.
8. Compliance & Policy Adherence
All stylists must comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Rent payments, agreements, and policies must be followed as outlined in lease terms.
Failure to comply with Perserva policies may result in warnings, corrective action, or termination of the rental agreement.
9. Commitment to Excellence
Perserva Suites is committed to maintaining a high standard. We expect stylists to:
Show up prepared, professional, and motivated.
Take pride in their craft and business.
Contribute positively to the salon environment.
Hold themselves accountable to continuous growth and improvement.
10. Brand Alignment, Suite Presentation & Atmosphere
Perserva Suites is committed to maintaining a cohesive, elevated brand experience throughout the entire building. While each stylist is encouraged to express their individuality, and embrace their own brand, all suites must align with Perserva’s brand and values.
Suite décor, signage, music, and overall presentation should reflect a professional, polished, and welcoming environment.
Music played within suites or shared areas must be appropriate for a professional salon setting.
Explicit music, offensive content, or deliberately provocative or oppositional themes that conflict with Perserva’s brand and values are strictly prohibited. Sound must also be regulated at an appropriate volume that is not disruptive for surrounding suites.
Any décor, messaging, or representation that intentionally misaligns with or undermines the Perserva Suites brand will not be permitted.
Perserva Suites reserves the right to request changes to suite presentation, music, or atmosphere to ensure consistency with standards and to protect the overall client experience.
